In addition to Eco friendly condominiums, Carrier Point is selling an active and contemporary lifestyle to it’s future residents in Asheville North Carolina. I love, LOVE, love all the work I have completed for Carrier Point thus far.

This SCREAMING GREEN brand image design started with a logo design mock-up, website design, business cards, promotional flyers and a sign for an expo. Working closely with the amazing Sonya over at Truly Twisted Marketing, we developed an amazing campaign for The Residences.

Let’s take a look at some of my (branding design) work for these ECO fabulous city homes. I’ll express the differences in mediocre and good branding design concepts.  At the same time, I’ll share some super sexy secrets about what makes my design concepts effective.

Carrier Point FlyerNo one and I mean NO ONE likes mediocre brand design.  He tries too hard.  He seems cheap, slimy, untrustworthy and desperate.  His choice of cologne is rank. His mustache is crooked. He doesn’t wear his clothing; his clothing wears him. I imagine he has had a little too much to drink and stumbles over to you almost tripping on his own feet as he makes his way toward you. He leans in (invading your personal space) . . . And then he opens his mouth and uses some gawd awful, lame opening pick up line like . . .  “All this for 25% OFF!”

For me a good branding design is like the short period between spotting some HOTTIE and exchanging phone numbers with him. It’s NOT about his physical characteristics. It’s about HIS CONFIDENCE.  It’s about the way he is comfortable in his own skin.

Website DesignWe (women) are attracted to him because we like his brand. His brand is his authenticity, his charisma. We love his stylish clothing choices, the mystery behind his smile and his approachability.  It might also be his choice of cologne or the funny little way he shaves his goatee. We just love him! Everything and I do mean every-thang about him is straight up HOT. I don’t know who he is, I just like his brand!

I don’t expect HIM to use some cheap opening line . . .  This guy will use a real bona fide tag line.  Something catchy and representative of the ideals he embraces.  Not only will it be something brilliant, but, he will slip it into the conversation at the most opportune time.   He knows he has my attention.  His tone is soothing, his message is clear . . . He has exactly what I need!

promote. In addition, there are three qualities every GOOD brand design has . . . It’s authentic, it appears effortless and it has a smooth uncomplicated natural flow.  You need both marketing AND branding efforts to initiate an action that leads to conversion.

And the moral of the story is: The guys (and girls)  that know how to ‘BRAND’ don’t have to try so hard to get attention from THE OPPOSITE SEX! And what does that have to do with me?  I ‘know how’ to use branding design concepts to increase your bottom line. I AM all about it! . . .  That’s just how I roll. ;)

Creating a STYLISH high end look for children was the key to branding this upscale baby boutique.  Lots of fun and funky elements were pulled in to create the eclectic yet distinguished children’s style.  By using both warm and vibrant colors, the foundation of elegance and a harmonious whimsical element throughout every piece of literature and media create this upscale luxury business brand.  Cheerful fonts, funky little crowns, artistically inspired references to fairy tales, a memorable tag line delight both kids and their parents.

In the simplest terms, branding design is eyecandy that makes YOU look GOOD.  It’s a smart and sexy visual system that works together add value to your business, company or product.  Kinda like a theme.  It’s the ‘WOW factor’ that takes us one step closer to finding your ideal customer.  And the coolest part about it is, branding design gives you an edge over your competition.

It’s all done with text and images that work together to create a sort of visual message that promotes sales and encourages growth by creating  credibility and trust.  Think of it like wearing a navy blue suit to an interview and having a fresh copy of your resume on hand.  Smart right?

I have always felt having a brand identity design for everything you sell is essential because, you have a real opportunity for your customer to identify with your company and absorb what you have to offer without putting any unnecessary or added pressure on them.  It’s all done with brand identity marketing.

Brand identity marketing happens when you make a conscience decision to control your brand or image. It’s like giving someone you love  a little nudge in the right direction.  What it does is assist in creating fans for your product by giving your product that rockstar quality. Sexy right?

Now ‘one thing’ branding design doesn’t do is . . . It doesn’t determine the actual product quality.  So in other words, if your product smells bad and tastes gawd awful, branding won’t make it smell or taste any better.  ;)  Although, if you use branding design  as a way to promote your (already fabulous) product or service it can add value to what you are selling.

The fact of the matter is, the public loves, LOVES, loves, eyecandy.  (Sometimes we expect it!) It entices us.  It persuades us.  It influences us.  It’s yummy and we welcome it.  I don’t know about you but, my brain is hardwired to give my attention to things I like and or find visually appealing.

When we associate something fun, something exciting or something we relate to representing your product or service, it’s giving your product a certain degree of leverage over your competitor.  We come back again and again (and again) to take a closer look at it.  You engage us with your UBER delicious brand design.  This gives you another opportunity to entice us.  Convince us . . . that you are the only one, that has THAT thingy we all absolutely gotta have!

So yah, give yourself and edge and increase your sales with your own super fabulous custom brand design
